New Smyrna Beach has an amazing beach park called Smyrna Dunes Park that we love! It has over 2 miles of wide, elevated, handicapped accessible boardwalk capped with lumber that makes for a great walk on cooler Florida days.

Update January 15, 2022: Daytona Beach Shores is now open for driving on the beach! It is about 4 miles south of Daytona Beach, and one of the closest beaches to Orlando. You can drive on the beach all the way up to the Daytona Beach Pier from the drive-on beach entrance. Read the Hurricane update.

Update December 30, 2022: This park is not open yet due to Hurricane Nicole but you can drive on the beach via Granada Blvd. Andy Romano Beachfront Park at 839 S. Atlantic Avenue has something for everyone. It is beautifully designed.
