VIBE: Relaxed, Upscale North Gulf Shore Beach, 4989-4999 Gulf Shore Blvd N, Naples, FL 34103 Updated February 22, 2023. Looking for a relaxing getaway in paradise? Look no further than Naples North Gulf Shore Beach for your next vacation! This pristine beach area is recovering from hurricanes but remains one of the most popular destinations along the Florida Gulf coast. Read on to discover all this beach has to offer. This beach access is located on the north side of US 41, just south of Pine Ridge Road. The beach has a white sand shoreline and there are plenty of palm trees to provide shade. This beach is open from 8 am to sunset year round and has in-season lifeguards on duty during those hours. There are showers, changing rooms, and restrooms near the small, metered parking lot for visitors. Dogs are not allowed on this beach. Naples Beach Sand The sand on any beach on the Gulf of Mexico is incredible! Some beaches are more rocky but this beach has soft, white sand that is thick and plentiful. It's powdery and if you like lying on the sand, it will surround your body like a warm blanket. When we visited the beach, it was free of debris and a delight to walk on. Sometimes the sand is too hot on your feet, but during the winter it is just about perfect. There are some large rocks on the beach which are great for photographs. Naples Beach Water It's hard to beat a Naples beach for beautiful Gulf water. Similar to Siesta Key Beach, the blue green hues are the first thing you see after you exit the path onto the beachfront. The water is calm, clear and you can see right down to your feet. There are only a few pebbles as you wade into the Gulf water. It's not shell covered like Sanibel Island, but you can find a few good ones if you take your time. Naples has over 10 miles of coastline and North Gulfshore Beach delivers the beauty and relaxation you expect in Florida and it is clean. When you view the Gulf of Mexico for the first time, the only thing you'll say is, "Wow!" Naples Beach Parking and Amenities This beach is smaller than Clearwater, but just as pretty and not as crowded. Parking is available but limited. The parking lot has 38 parking spaces available and it's pay at the meter. But, like every other parking lot near a Florida beach, you will have to get there early! Then just walk between the condos of Seagate and North Gulfshore Boulevard to reach the shoreline. If the lot is full, there is metered parking available at several other nearby beach access areas. You can pay by credit card and it is patrolled:
Naples Beach Activities Naples North Gulf Shore Beach is one of the nicest beach destinations in Naples. It’s a favorite among locals and tourists alike because it offers a wide variety of activities. Visitors can enjoy fishing, boating, swimming, sunbathing, yoga on the beach and more. The Naples Pier is being rebuilt after Hurricane Ian destroyed part of it in 2022. Only a part of it is open to the public but it provides visitors with an excellent vantage point for viewing the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and stunning sunsets. If you just want to feel the sun on your face and toes in the sand, then this is the beach for you! If you are feeling energetic, why not go out on a boat cruise or dolphin sightseeing tour at Pure Florida. Look Out! This Could Happen... We always try to warn you about the pitfalls of every beach we visit. Naples Beach is no exception. Naples is one of the most highly-priced areas in the Sunshine State, where upscale hotels, dining, and tourist outings can be expensive. You will have to shop around for accommodation and entertainment options that suit your budget. The Cove Inn has a reputation for not breaking the bank. For dining, check out Happy Hour at Riverwalk Restaurant at Tin City. For some shopping fun there is an eclectic collection of thrift store and consignment shops that include high-fashion castoffs. Check out Naple's largest luxury consignment shop Audrey's of Naples. What We Really Think About Naples Beach This beach has many beautiful palms and trees lining the walkway down to the beach. We love the large rocks leading into the Gulf water which are great for photos. We have been to beaches all over Florida and this one is beautiful. It's just so relaxing and less crowded than other Gulf beaches. There are a few large condos to the side of the beach, but the foliage behind you makes it seem like a little island paradise. If you visit during when the snowbirds are gone, you will get the best water temperatures for swimming with less crowds.
