Located on secluded Amelia island, this oceanfront resort is very luxurious. Golf, a spa, indoor and outdoor pools are some of the amenities this resort offers. First class food and service are what the resort is known for and visitor reviews reflect this. Visiting north Florida in the winter months is very special. The weather is warm during the day and cool at night. Perhaps not the first choice for people wanting a hot, Caribbean climate vacation, it nonetheless is a relaxing, high-end experience. Island style is front and center at this one-of-a-kind location in Key West. This historic mansion has hosted 5 United States Presidents and celebrities. On the quiet end of Duval Street, this clean and private residence turned resort hotel is a gem for any Florida Keys visitor. The only downside may be the lack of a real beach. There’s a public beach adjacent to the hotel, but it’s public and can get busy. If exploring Key West is more important than a beach vacation, then this hotel might be just right.
